The Right Man for the job

Not only is March 4th a very important day in determining which candidate will receive their respective party's nomination for President, but there is also a very close race for the 14th US Congressional District (South Texas).

The 14th Congressional seat will be determined March 4th, because there is not a Democrat runnning for the office. The race is between the incumbent Ron Paul and Businessman/CPA Chris Peden. Chris Peden is a family man, that understands the importance of protecting our nation's core conservative values. Chris Peden (to quote his website) is a "Pro-Family, Pro-Life Christian conservative who believes in free markets, smaller government, and individual responsibility."

Ron Paul calls himself part of the Reagan Revolution, and talks about how fond President Reagan was of him. I feel it safe to assume President Reagan would take great exception in Ron Paul's statements that our nation "deserved" the attacks of 9/11. Chris Peden understands the importance of maintaining an offensive against the extremist Islamic-Fascist regimes and strongly supports our nation's war on terrorism. Ron Paul wants to admit defeat, retreat, and put our head's in the sand and hope it will all just go away. Unfortunately, Mr. Paul, that would be economic, social, and political suicide. The effects that would have on our nation would be devastating. If we were to let the terrorists win, and retreat...I'd recommend everyone move to a remote part of Wyoming or the Dakotas. One thing is for certain, you won't want to be near major cities or ports because that's where the bombs will land.

It's time to stand up for ourselves and our nation, and elect a man to Congress that will REPRESENT his constituents, not just speak for them. We need a Congressman that will support conservative bills through the House and fight the Democrats attempts at bigger government, higher taxes, and weakened national security.

It's my honor to endorse Chris Peden for the 14th Congressional District seat in the US Congress. I encourage each and every one of you to do the same.
